June 14-21/2021

Ages 14-18, must be able to swim, no rafting experience needed

This trip begins and ends in Salt Lake City Airport. The group will be driving from SLC Airport to Vernal, Utah to sleep in Forest Service primitive cabins near the river’s access point on June 14. June 15-20 will be spent floating by raft through class 1 and 2 rapids on Utah’s beautiful Desolation Canyon on the Green River. Each night the group will camp on a sandy beach where we will eat a delicious meal prepared by our Instructors, one of whom is a professional chef. Upon completion of the river rafting we will shuttle the group to SLC to eat a special last meal together before departing flights the following day, June 21.

Mountaineering, rafting, travel

June 28-July 4/2021
Ages 14-18, must be able to hike 4 miles with minimal breaks, no previous experience needed
Airfare not included

This trip begins and ends in Denver International Airport. The group will drive to a base camp and prepare for a 4 day mountaineering trip in pristine Colorado backcountry. Members will hike up to 4 miles a day, and will learn about wilderness travel and leadership development while studying BME curriculum. Upon completion of the mountaineering trip, the group will return to base camp for the next two nights. While in base camp the group will enjoy a day of whitewater rafting on one of the nation’s most premier rivers. After many unforgettable adventures and new friends, the group will shuttle back to DIA on July 4, just in time to celebrate with family!

December 27-January 2/2022

Study SAT Prep in the morning and learn to surf in the afternoon

This will be our 10th year working with the great people of Autentico Adventures. Felipe and his family are a dream to work with, and always provide the highest quality of skill instruction while meeting every need of our groups. The group will arrive in Juan Santamaria International Airport on December 27, where Felipe will shuttle everyone to the Autentico base for night 1. Starting the second day, the group will travel to Uvita and stay in beach side Cabinas for the remainder of the trip. Mornings will be spent studying SAT Prep with a tudor, with the rest of the afternoons learning and growing in their surfing skills. The Autentico team will shuttle the group back to SJO for their departing flights on January 2, 2022.
