Looking for a camp reunion in December? Join Black Mountain Expeditions in Costa Rica, an expedition adventure filled with fun and camp friends. The group will travel through a Costa Rican rain forest, experience and serve the homes of local families, raft world class white water and learn to surf in famous waves off the coast. Most importantly, this will all be done in a community of Merri-Mac girls, allowing participants to grow through friends and adventures beyond the gates of camp!

Join Black Mountain Expeditions as we experience world class trekking in the Julian Alps. After two days of acclimating and experiencing Slovenian culture, we’ll spend the next four days hiking through the breathtaking mountains in Triglav National Park. Each night, we’ll stay in mountain huts where you’ll enjoy home cooked meals for breakfast and dinner, along with opportunities for swapping stories with the hut-keeper and other travelers. The hike will take us through both alpine forests and lakes, as well as gorgeous summits and vistas. After completing the hike, we’ll return to the land of hotels and restaurants where we’ll wrap up before returning home.

Join Black Mountain Expeditions as we backpack in Pisgah National Forest, a premier wilderness area in the southeast. We will explore the best of the North Carolina High Country with jaw dropping vistas and quad burning climbs. Over the course of this section you will grow in your leadership skills as you learn the essential skills to thrive in the wilderness such as traveling with map and compass, route finding, back-country cooking, packing a backpack, hanging a bear bag, and setting up a shelter to sleep in. You will end this trip ready to take on the exciting adventure of being a Counselor in Training and Merri-Mac and Timberlake.
